New last offers a square internal toe shape (broad toe) created on an arched last. Low crown with narrowed heel. Full #2.5 leather board/red board combination shank with medium vamp. Slight "U" shape throat with regular side and heel measurements. Bias side seam, sating binding with elastic drawstring. Feathered full wing-box for lateral support with high and wide platform. Removable medical grade gel cushion placed on internal edgle of platform. Shanl lined with pink suede and features a ribbon motif on elongated outsole aids with traction.

I was first professionally fitted for this style and size pointe shoe, so I already knew what to order.
The Capezio Ava has a broader toe platform and wide box, with a medium vamp (I have short toes, so I still have to "hack" the vamp by cutting and re-sewing it a bit deeper, plus I  to soften up one of the shanks more, for my foot that can't get over as well as the other).
The shoe's shank does feel thicker and harder than what I would expect for its description as medium; I'd describe it as medium-hard ;-)
My order was delivered in excellent condition and in good time, at a great price.
